Bronco Bostick

Mayor

Bostick served one term as a member of the Hardeeville City Council from 2000-2004. He took a break from public service but then ran for and was elected Mayor in 2008. He was born in Ridgeland but has lived in Hardeeville for twenty-five years and is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Before that he served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1974-1976.

  Michael Foskey

Mayor Pro-Tem

Mr. Foskey is a life long resident of Hardeeville. He graduated from Battery Creek High School and served with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1993-1997. Foskey resides on Foskey St. with his wife Christine, daughter Caitlynn and son Jonas. Together with his wife he owns and operates Foskey Heating and Air located here in Hardeeville. He is an active member of the Hardeeville Chamber of Commerce, the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce and Marine Rescue Squadron.

Roy Powell

City Council Member

Born in Vidalia, GA, Mr. Powell moved to South Carolina at a young age and graduated from West Hardeeville High School in 1982.  He served in the Army from 1984-1987 and now he works for William Ryan Electric in Bluffton as an electrician.

Sal Arzillo

City Council Member

A veteran of the United States Army, Mr. Arzillo served our country as a crew chief on a helicopter in Viet Nam.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1948, graduated Farmingdale Senior High and then Alabama Institute of Aviation Technology in 1970.  In 1971, Sal was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, discovered Hardeeville and fell in love.  He bought a home on First Street, raised four children who attended Hardeeville public schools and he has never looked back.  Sal is a local business owner since 1975;  has served two terms as president of the Hardeeville Business Association; has served on the first Planning and Zoning Board and is a recent past-president of the Hardeeville Chamber of Commerce.

Sherry Carroll

City Council Member

Mrs. Carroll has lived in Hardeeville since 1986. She was as a teacher and administrator at Hardeeville Elementary School for 23 years prior to taking her current job as the English/Language Arts Coordinator for the Beaufort County School District.  Carroll obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Reading from the University of South Carolina. She is married to Hardeeville native John Carroll.  They have two children who are currently attending college at the University of South Carolina.
