Brana Snowden

AICP Planning Director

Snowden is employed with the City of Hardeeville in the Planning & Development Services Department as Planning Director. Ms. Snowden has almost 10 years of land use planning experience in the local government field. She has been involved at the local government level in project management, comprehensive planning, and management and administration of land use planning and zoning boards with extensive experience large scale development review. Ms. Snowden obtained her background in land use planning with a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. Ms. Snowden’s previous experience includes nine years as a planner and project manager with the County of Charleston, SC and three years experience as a private consultant. Ms. Snowden has also performed land use planning services for the South Carolina Towns of Awendaw, Bluffton, Kiawah Island, McClellanville, and Megget. Ms. Snowden has been certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.

LeNolon Edge

Planner III

LeNolon “Nolon” Edge was born in North Myrtle Beach, SC and resided there through high school. Nolon received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Clemson University in 2004 and received a Masters in City & Regional Planning Degree from Clemson in 2006. While in college, Nolon worked in several South Carolina municipalities, including Myrtle Beach, Greenville, Spartanburg, and Bluffton. Nolon joined the City of Hardeeville Team in May of 2006 and became a certified arborist in June of 2008.
 Nolon is a member of American Planning Association (APA), International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), and American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), where he serves as Executive Committee Member of the SC Chapter of ASLA. Nolon also serves as Co-Leader of “Branded” College Ministry at Living Hope Community Fellowship with his wife, Adrienne Edge.

Chris Damgen

Planner I

Originally from New Jersey, Chris always felt “at home” in the Lowcountry after several summer vacations to our area.  Chris graduated from Clemson University in 2007 with a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning with a certificate in urban design.  He also received a bachelor’s degree in history at Clemson in 2005.  Before coming to Hardeeville in May 2007, Chris worked at the City of Clemson in the planning and codes department.
