Municipal Court

The Municipal Court has grown along with the City of Hardeeville. Judge John Carroll is now available every day of the week for the first time in the history of the City. The Municipal Court uses the most up-to-date technology available and is a part of the South Carolina Court Administration’s CMS System. Judge Lisa Kamppi provides part-time assistance to ensure that a judge is available to Hardeeville citizens seven days a week to set bond, issue warrants, and provide any other judicial services required. Diane Youngblood and Carolyn Mitchell, the City’s two Court Clerks, are available to take payments and provide excellent customer service.

Spanish Language Court

In an effort to address the needs of our Hispanic population, a special Court is held the 4th Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM. Judge Lisa Kamppi and a certified interpreter make sure that all of our citizen’s receive a fair trial.

And the verdict is…

"It is hard to believe the growth that has taken place in the Hardeeville Municipal Court during the 18 years that I have served as judge. We used to keep our records on index cards. Now we use high tech computer software!"
Judge John Carroll
