The Hardeeville Community Library is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic professional to serve as a Part-Time Library Assistant for one of the region’s highest growth areas. Hardeeville is in the heart of the Lowcountry and is strategically located between Savannah, GA and Hilton Head, SC.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB:
The Library Assistant provides excellent frontline circulation customer service for patrons and visitors to the library. This position reports directly to the Branch Manager. Primary responsibilities include operating a web-based circulation system, opening and closing the library building, monitoring patron and building security during assigned hours, and performing all other tasks deemed necessary.
A valid form of ID
High School diploma or GED
One year of customer service, library or retail experience is required
