Brana Snowden has been employed with the City of Hardeeville in the Planning and Development Department as Planning Director since 2006. She has over a decade of land use planning experience in the local government field. Brana has been involved at the local government level in project management, comprehensive planning, and management and administration of land use planning and zoning boards with extensive experience large scale development review. She obtained her background in land use planning with a masters degree in City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. Her previous experience includes nine years as a planner and project manager with the County of Charleston, South Carolina and three years experience as a private consultant. Brana has also performed land use planning services for several South Carolina communities, including: Awendaw, Bluffton, Kiawah Island, McClellanville and Meggett. Brana is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners.
